Krav Maga Training

KRAV MAGA™ is the official self defense and fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces and various police departments throughout the U.S. This highly effective, easy to learn system of self defense is offered for men and women of all ages and all skill levels. Classes will be exciting, challenging and motivating.

Krav Maga is an Israeli army method of unarmed combat now gaining popularity all over the world. It is considered a “no-nonsense” method of self-defence for a variety of situations. Originally developed during the liberation fighting of Israel, Krav Maga is now practiced by the entire Israeli military – especially its elite forces.

Krav Maga combines elements of boxing, Judo, and Jujitsu as well as the use of weapons such as knives and sticks. This weapon technique is taught to deal with modern day street situations where guns and knives are often involved. There are no kata or other traditional martial arts training exercises.

The techniques of Krav Maga are highly practical and effective for the street. Individuals can attain a high level of proficiency within a relatively short period of instruction.

Krav Maga classes are also a fantastic way to begin, extend, or expand your physical fitness journey. Krav Maga is proven to enhance and improve our senses of focus, agility, and balance, which are vital in our daily routines especially as we age. MMA training classes are designed to maximize your Fight Skills to be used in CAGE MATCHES. Our goal is to put together a Team to represent our program in sanctioned Amateur bouts. If you choose to try-out for the team, attendance in these classes will be mandatory. Additional conditioning will be required, as well as Nutritional Guidance from MAX MUSCLE.

Required equipment will include: 16 oz Boxing gloves, 4 oz. MMA gloves and wraps, mouth piece, Groin cup w/compression shorts, Muay Tae Headgear, High impact Shin-instep pads. Clean appropriate workout attire. (Krav Maga classes require proper Krav Maga wear).
